Wash and Care for fire retardant garments
Following these instructions and suggestions will prolong the life of the garments. Items must be washed as indicated on the labels that are included with the item. Its best to wash items separately or with like items.Verify that before cleaning, (ex: in the case of drivers’ suits), that the Velcro of the collar and belt are closed to eliminate the possibility of abrasion.
It is recommended to machine or hand wash at a cool temperature (30C/86F). Wash the garment turned inside out, using a neutral soap. A mild dry clean is optional as well.
The suit should be dried inside out remaining without prolonged contact with artificial light or direct sunlight.
DO NOT tumble dry.
Always make sure to not store articles unless they are completely dry to eliminate the possibility of creating mold. NEVER leave items humid in a bag.
It is also recommended that the following shall not be used: Any type of bleach or chlorine, additives in powder, brighteners or whiteners, disinfectants, softeners or hydrogen peroxide.
